Colorado’s penalty kill yielded a goal early in the second period, but then negated New York’s next four extra-man chances.Anders Lee beat Georgiev with a long wrist shot at 4:40 of the third period to even the score at 4-4, but the Avalanche reclaimed the lead for the third time in this contest at 7:47.
