AUSTIN (KXAN) – United Airlines flight attendants in Austin on Thursday took part in an international effort to negotiate a new contract with the airline. Dozens of flight attendants picketed as part of a "day of action" from their union, the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA). According to the union, similar pickets took place in nearly 20 airports around the world. ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An Albany man was arrested on Thursday following a bank robbery at the Key Bank located at 561 New Scotland Avenue. Jason Tillery, 29, is charged with third-degree robbery. Upon arrival, an employee told officers that an individual approached the counter, and passed a note saying give me all the money. The employee did so and the suspect fled with an undetermined amount of cash.Shortly after, patrol officers saw a man in the area of Turner Place and Whitehall Road believed to be involved in the robbery and stopped him. (NEWS10) -- Two people were injured following a shooting in the area of Broad Street and Alexander Street in Albany Thursday evening around 4:50 p.m. Police say two victims were shot and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
