MILAN (AP) — A bad day for Juventus turned worse when a 4-1 loss at Empoli on Monday saw its hopes of qualifying for the Champions League implode. Before kickoff, Juventus was hit by a 10-point penalty for false accounting. That dropped the club to seventh in Serie A, five points behind fourth-placed AC Milan. Juve hosts Milan next weekend in one of its final two matches.“It was a mental collapse which is normal after a surreal season,” Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri said. “At this point it’s enough, it’s one thing after the other. They (league organizers) need to decide once and for all where we are.“The guys did their best. It’s not an excuse, but finding yourself with 10 points less, a quarter of an hour before the match is at least mitigating circumstances. It’s been a really tiring year, always going back and forth. And on the field, we’re second.”Another route into the Champions League ended last week in a loss to Sevilla after extra time in their Europa League semifinal.D...Newcastle qualifies for Champions League for first time in 20 years

NEWCASTLE, England (AP) — Newcastle qualified for the Champions League for the first time in 20 years after drawing with Leicester 0-0 in the English Premier League on Monday, a milestone moment for a Saudi-controlled club with the resources and ambition to become a major force in European soccer. The point ensured Newcastle cannot be denied a top-four finish heading into its final game of the season, at Chelsea on Sunday.Leicester’s campaign-closing game has far more riding on it, with the team still in the relegation zone and needing a win at home to West Ham to avoid falling into the second-tier Championship — seven years after winning the Premier League at preseason odds of 5,000-1 in a sporting fairytale.Newcastle swarmed all over Leicester at St. James’ Park, hitting the post on three occasions — through Callum Wilson, Miguel Almiron and Bruno Guimaraes — and forcing a series of saves from goalkeeper Daniel Iversen.Still, it was job done for Newcastle, which was last in Europe’...Golden Knights keep rallying, lead Stars 2-0 with NHL West final moving to Dallas

DALLAS (AP) — The Golden Knights certainly know how to rally when they have fallen behind in these NHL playoffs because it has happened so much.“We’ve got a thick skin,” Vegas coach Bruce Cassidy said. “It’s veteran guys that know that one goal, getting scored on first, shouldn’t dictate the rest of the game.”Even though the Knights have trailed in 11 of their 13 games this postseason, including 10 times when the opposing team scored first, they have a 2-0 series lead over Dallas in the Western Conference Final. The Stars, who scored first in both of those road games before losing in overtime, host Game 3 on Tuesday night.“Just trying to stick with our game,” Vegas center Jack Eichel said. “You know you’re not going to be your best every night. But some nights when you’re not at your best, you find ways to win hockey games. … You just keep working and you hope you get a bounce or someone makes a play.”That was true Sunday in Game 2, when Eichel’s ...Autopsy finds ‘severe neglect’ to blame for man’s death in bedbug-infested Georgia jail cell

But where do the miller moths go during the day? Miller moths are here, and ‘they’re everywhere!’ Miller moths are nocturnal and usually like to find dark places to rest during the day, according to experts at the Butterfly Pavilion. They said the moths might be spotted during the day because they may not be in a place where they feel comfortable enough to rest.Whitney Cranshaw, an entomology professor at Colorado State University, told FOX31 that this particular moth "commonly finds cover in crevices, which may include locations such as along window molding, doors, areas of vehicles."In their search for a dark resting place they sometimes end up in buildings and vehicles, but Cranshaw said she has sometimes seen m...Man who saved woman stuck in canal in SW Miami-Dade honored with award by Police Benevolent Association
